On Accepting New Challenges

“People who excel at Rich’s are interested in developing themselves by learning new things and accepting new challenges. That’s one of the great things about this company – those that want to be part of a team, drive an initiative or a project – we are going to give them that responsibility, and the opportunity to be successful.”

On Helping Customers Succeed

“The year I was born my father started a small business, selling restaurant and other food equipment supplies in Buffalo, NY. My entire family including my three siblings worked in various roles in the business as we progressed through high school and college. We saw firsthand the commitment our parents had to the business and my father’s passion of working with restaurant entrepreneurs and local retail deli operators to either establish or improve their businesses. I see a lot of similarities with that mindset I learned very early in life with the Rich Experience and how we help our customers.”

On the Future at Rich’s

“Our targets for the next five years include above market revenue growth each and every year. To accomplish this, we are going to have to meet our customer’s needs and execute well in delivering growth both organically as well as via acquisition. Rich’s is surely going to continue to enjoy an exciting environment providing a multitude of opportunities and challenges for our associates.”
