Born from a shared passion and dedication to the arts of Indonesia, Nusantara Arts is a young nonprofit organization in Buffalo, New York. As a group, Nusantara Arts comes together to celebrate Gamelan music, a genre native to the island of Java in Indonesia. Grounded by values of inclusivity, refinement, cooperation, community, experience, and preservation, Nusantara Arts embraces the spirit of Gamelan music and invites all to join—whether as a listener and audience member or by learning the art and participating as a performer.
