As Executive Vice President and Chief Research, Innovation & Compliance Officer, Jim Motos leads Rich’s enterprise-wide innovation agenda—overseeing research and development, product and packaging innovation, and food safety, quality, and regulatory excellence. He plays a critical role in advancing Rich’s long-term growth by bringing new ideas to market, strengthening capabilities across the value chain, and ensuring products meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and
performance.
With nearly three decades in the consumer goods industry, including more than 20 years at Rich’s, Jim brings deep commercial insight and a customer-centered perspective to innovation. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles across sales, brand management, category leadership, and innovation, giving him a holistic understanding of how ideas move from concept to customer impact. Jim is known for building high-performing, engaged teams and for fostering strong collaboration across the business, supply chain, and customer partners. He is passionate about developing talent, strengthening industry partnerships, and helping Rich’s innovate with purpose in a rapidly evolving marketplace. Jim has served on several industry and nonprofit boards, including the National Fisheries Institute, Seafood Nutrition Partnership, Enactus, and the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
