Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Ed Moore leads all of Rich’s human resources functions including diversity, equity and inclusion, talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards and more. He also oversees Rich’s Corporate Communications, Community Relations and Sustainability efforts, which fuel the company’s reputation as an employer of choice. With more than 30 years of global human resources leadership experience, Ed has been recognized by industry leaders as an outstanding executive business partner and developer of top talent. As a member of our Executive Team, he contributes to the overall strategic direction and performance of the company.

Boards & Leadership

Prior to joining Rich’s in 2014, Ed held leadership roles at the Kellogg Company, Sara Lee Corporation and MetLife, where he supported businesses operating in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Active in the industry and community, Ed currently chairs the Business Leaders Task Force, a collection of senior leaders representing major employers across the Buffalo, NY region, dedicated to strengthening workplace inclusion. Similarly, Ed also serves as strategic advisor on Rich’s Workplace Inclusion Team and has sponsored the formation of several Associate Resource Groups within the company.

Ed is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo where he currently serves on its School of Business Advisory Council and has completed advanced coursework at Syracuse University and Cornell University. Originally from Upstate New York, Ed and his wife, Lori, have been married since 1986 and have three adult sons.
