Buffalo, N.Y., November 14, 2012 – Rich Products Corporation Global Headquarters on Niagara Street in Buffalo is serving as the donation drop-off point for Western New York’s efforts to assist Long Island residents as they clean-up from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.
Area residents and businesses can bring clean-up supplies and other much-needed items to Rich’s today from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rich’s is located at One Robert Rich Way (at the corner of Niagara and West Ferry streets).
Rich’s is directly donating $100,000 worth of food products, some 60,000 servings of breakfast and dessert items to the cause, along with two, 18-wheelers to transport the perishable and non-perishable donation to the Hurricane Sandy relief team at Long Island Cares, Inc., located in Happaugue, Long Island.
Rich’s affiliates, the Buffalo Bisons, Travel Team and Roar Logistics are also donating more than $10,000 and supplies and hundreds of Rich’s employees are making donations and acting as volunteers for the massive collection drive.
Buffalo’s largest privately-held company is responding to Governor Cuomo’s call for all New Yorkers to lend a hand in assisting those hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy. The regional office of Empire State Development Corporation has assisted in planning of the Buffalo-based relief effort.

Morning radio personalities Shredd & Ragan, of 103.3 FM “The Edge,” have also played a key role in encouraging their listeners to donate to the relief effort. They are broadcasting live from Rich’s starting at 6 a.m.
